China is a country with severe drought and water scarcity, and is one of the 13 countries in the world with an average water scarcity per capita. The per capita freshwater resources are only 1/4 of the world's per capita, ranking 109th in the world. However, the water shortage in the northwest region of China is particularly severe. The Ministry of Construction had predicted that the peak of water shortage in China would be in 2030, when the population would reach around 1.6 billion and the per capita water resource share would be 1760 cubic meters, entering the ranks of moderately water deficient countries determined by relevant United Nations organizations.
The contradiction of water resource shortage has become one of the urgent environmental problems to be solved in China. Using water-saving products is one of the methods to solve the problem of water resource waste.
Taking water-saving toilets as an example, the water consumption of a household bathroom accounts for 60% of the total monthly water consumption, while the toilet water consumption accounts for 70% of the bathroom water consumption. If all Chinese households use the Jinlaibao Super Cyclone series super water-saving toilets, which can save up to 40% water compared to similar products, just one Jinlaibao toilet can save at least 10 billion yuan in water costs for the country. Water conservation is beneficial to the country and the people, and the benefits lie in the present and the future.
